Scottish Cobbles

North West Aggregates Cobblestones have long been used for courtyards and roads. Durable, versatile Scottish Cobbles are attractive around garden water features. They are perfect for pathways, driveways and patios and make especially lovely paths in cottage style gardens. They would look great scattered among other groundcover in an American Southwest style garden.

The term cobble has come to mean any rounded stone ranging in size from 2.5 to 10 inches; cobble refers to the stone’s shape, rather than to its mineral content. North West Aggregates Scottish Cobbles range from 30 mm to 300mm and are a blend of browns, greys, tans, and yellows; some even have a slightly greenish cast. The texture of the individual cobbles varies from fairly smooth to rough.

These qualities make Scottish Cobbles ideal for borders and around ponds. They can be piled together without mortar if the area will not be walked on or played around.
